This report was prepared as a set for joint US-Japan private sector recommendation for the US-Japan Internet Economy Dialogue schedule for October 2013. The meeting was postponed due to the US government shutdown. The report contains recommendations on steps to maintain an open and transparent Internet; rules for cross-border data flows; cooperation between the US and Japan CIOs; guarding Internet safety; and accelerating cloud enterprise.
