Multistakeholder Forum: Eiji Sahara (Healthcare Cloud Initiative)
Dr. Eiji Sasahara is a Partner of the Healthcare Cloud Initiative, NPO, and representative of the Board of Directors at the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Japan Chapter Inc. As Chair of the Healthcare IT Subcommittee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ), he focusesg on research and career development support regarding Governance, and Risk and Compliance for utilizing ICT in the health/life sciences industries.
He holds a B.A. in Human Sciences from Keio University, an MBA from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management and a Ph.D. in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Chiba University Graduate School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The Keio International Project for the Internet & Society (KICIS) organized a conference to promote discussion on the future of privacy on the Internet in Japan. The conference brought experts on privacy concerns from abroad as well as multistakeholder representatives from various social and economic sectors in Japan. Discussion will focus on their questions, concerns and expectations regarding the new framework on privacy currently being drafted within the Japanese government.
